About Conveyor Barcode Scanners

Our used barcode scanners run low energy lasers to read the barcodes. A mobile mirror is used to move the beam rapidly back and forth. The information is processed by a barcode reader and then sent through the data communication interface. Barcode scanners can read and output printed barcodes to a computer.

Like a flatbed scanner, it consists of a light source, a lens, and a light sensor translating optical impulses into electronic ones. Additionally, nearly all barcode readers contain decoder circuitry analyzing the barcodes image data provided by the sensor and sending the content of the barcode to the scanner's output port.

American Surplus has several models of Accu-Sort conveyor barcode scanners, and also a handful of other industry leading brands to fit seamlessly into your new or existing conveyor system. Every used barcode scanner is tested and inspected prior to shipment to ensure that only the highest quality used warehouse equipment reaches our customers. Speak with a member of our sales team to learn more about our current inventory of conveyor barcode scanners as well as any other conveyor accessory you may need.
