Used Floor Scales

floor scales

Floor scales, also known as pallet scales, are designed to be floor mounted, or installed in ground, with up to a 10,000 lb. capacity. These industrial scales are great for weighing heavy-duty loads and other oversized objects. They are designed for high visibility and long-lasting use. The LED display can be wall mounted, and the pallet scale is mounted on a heavy steel channel support. They have a 3/16-inch-thick diamond plated floor. Industrial floor scales are ideal for loading docks to weigh incoming or outgoing products. Often these scales are seen in industrial settings like shipyards, factories, and other warehouse environments. American Surplus Inc. tests and inspects our used floor scales that are in stock prior to shipment.

Floor scales, or pallet scales, are a traditional weight measuring device which operates on the same principles of a counting scale, however on a much larger scale. Every shipping or receiving department should have a floor scale to keep track of the weights of palletized or bulky items for shipping purposes, or for weighing anything up to 10,000 pounds. Durable diamond plated flooring provides traction to prevent slipping by employees or lift equipment.

There are many advantages of using floor scales in the warehouse and manufacturing industry. These scales are ideal for weighing heavy-duty loads, oversized objects, and items that are much to large for regular scales. Floor scales can be used in a range of different industries as they can be used to measure anything from chemical totes to pallets, and much more. Its durable design makes it strong enough to be used over long periods of time in the harshest environments.

American Surplus has several styles of used floor scales available, with weight capacities in either 5,000 or 10,000 pounds, depending on your individual needs.
