American Surplus has all of your used barrel and drum handling equipment needs, and all at 40-60% less than the price of new. Some of the used equipment we carry include drum trucks, forklift drum handlers, drum cradles, and drum carrier/dispensers.

Drum trucks are used to transport drums and barrels vertically to prevent spilling. They typically have weight capacities of 1000 lbs. or more, and can have either two or three wheels depending on the style. Forklift drum handlers remove the need for maneuvering drums by hand. These attachments fit over the forks of your lift truck and is able to pick and move barrels by gripping on to the ribs.

Drum cradles have a lip at one end to pick barrels up vertically, and are then pulled horizontally onto the frame, where four casters allow for easy transportation. While barrels are horizontal, they can also be dispensed directly from the cradle. Drum carriers/ dispensers are similar to drum cradles in that they can also orient the barrels horizontally. These work by loading barrels in a vertical position, then leveraging them into the air after being secured with a cinch chain. Barrels can be transported horizontally or vertically.

Specialized equipment such as these drum handling tools do not find their way to our warehouse easily due to their specific nature, so quantities are extremely limited. Contact a member of our sales team to learn more about our current inventory of used drum handling equipment.
