M-bars are a form of vertical divider that allows you to stock irregularly shaped items vertically, rather than horizontally, which increases efficiency and decreases floor space needed for horizontal storage. M-bars attach to rear beams of pallet racking, and have two or three brackets, depending on the size you need. They are typically used to store lumber, pipes, doors and windows, and similar lengthy, bulky items. 3/8″ wire is used for lightweight applications, while 1″ tube is preferred for more heavy weight items.
