This used skate wheel conveyor system is now available at ASI! This system features 16 wheels per foot, and overall dimensions of 18″ wide x 10′ long per section. Independently rolling skate wheels require less energy to move product along the lines compared to the rollers found in gravity roller conveyor, with more independent contact points also allowing higher capacities per linear foot.
Additionally, with skate wheels raised above the conveyor’s frame, packages can be wider than the conveyor system itself, as long as the frame can support the weight requirements. This type of conveyor is great for transporting products that have a flat bottom like boxes, cases, totes, cartons, etc. These are often used in stocking areas, assembly lines, and shipping departments. Skate wheel conveyors are flexible enough and can easily be reconfigured for short-term applications and are often used in manufacturing, warehousing, package handling, order fulfillment, and distribution tasks.
