Used Southworth LS2 Backsaver Series Lift Tables

The Southworth LS2 Backsaver Series is designed as a rugged, reliable scissor lift table for work positioning, pallet loading, or any application where a variable height work surface is required. With extra width at the pivot point, the contoured legs offer improved strength and a lower collapsed height vs. leading competition, and the “Comfort Edge” design features no sharp corners, reducing the risk of damage or injury. All pivot points on the Southworth LS2 Backsaver feature hardended pins, operating in lifetime lubricated brushings for a virtually maintenance-free scissor lift. Heavy duty torque tubes minimize platform deflection and maximize stability, while the heavy duty hydraulic hose is rated to a burst strength 600% greater than the system’s operating pressure, reducing the likelihood of hydraulic failure. A clear plastic return line from the cylinder rod bearing to the tank gives a clear visual indication of need for cylinder maintenance while preventing fluid spills in the event of a bypass. Low overall low operating pressure of the hydraulic system keeps burst risk low and maximizes the service life of the hydraulic components. Chrome-plated piston rods are corrosion-resistant and honed cylinder walls reduce wear. A built-in safety chock prevents accidental lowering of the lift table during maintenance, allowing for safe upkeep of the unit. This unit is desined and manufactured to meet or exceed ANSI MH29.1 Safety Requirements for Industrial Scissor Lifts, with a pressure compensated flow control valve with lock out preset and locked to 10 FPM maximum lowering speed.
