Used Lineshaft Conveyor For Sale

Used lineshaft conveyors, also known as live roller conveyors are best suited for light to medium loads and are used for transporting and accumulating product. The conveyor rollers in a lineshaft conveyor are powered individually by a drive shaft that runs underneath the entire length of the conveyor. They can be used for almost all applications, at relatively low expense, designed mostly for flat-bottomed, evenly distributed products. Most commonly found in distribution and warehouse centers, food packaging and parcel handling. The environment should be clean, dry and oil-free as there are many components to the conveyor.

There are many advantages to lineshaft conveyor. This conveyor can power over 100 feet with a single motor, which reduces electricity cost and assembly/maintenance. Common uses of used lineshaft conveyor include transporting, minimum back pressure and accumulation, zero pressure accumulation, and sorting of light & medium duty boxes. Its modular design allows for customization over time as your business changes and grows. More advantages of this conveyor are a quiet operation, as well as easy installation and maintenance. One disadvantage of this conveyor system is items conveyed have to be adequate size and shape so that they cannot fall between the moving rollers, which can easily be avoided with proper use, however.

All used lineshaft conveyor is inspected before shipment.  ASI will replace the power bands on the used lineshaft conveyor if they are worn.  Used lineshaft conveyors are ideal for conveying product around curves within the warehouse.

Used lineshaft conveyor manufacturers include Buschman, Mathews, Rapistan and Speedway.  American Surplus stocks these brands along with Hytrol, Ermanco, ACSI, and Interlake.  Design and installation of used lineshaft conveyor, by trained professionals, is available nationwide.

Used Lineshaft Conveyor

Used lineshaft conveyor is ideal for minimizing back pressure while transporting products. Lineshaft style used conveyor has a driveshaft that runs the length of the conveyor. This powers the rollers individually using belts. The drive shaft of the used conveyor is powered by a motor that has the ability to move products both forwards and backward. Also known as used live roller conveyor.

Because each of the rollers is powered individually, lineshaft conveyor is ideal for minimum accumulation conveyor operations. It is also used in diverting and converging operations. Because each of the rollers is individually secured, used lineshaft conveyors tend to run very quietly. This is because the rollers are tightly kept in place, so there is no rattling or vibrating.

There are several types of conveyors, and this can make purchasing difficult. Whether you have an existing facility or would like to create a new, ASI is here to help. Our sales staff has more than 20 years of experience and will work with you on your material handling project from start to finish. We can design complete conveyor systems, or add to your additional conveyor line.
