Used Incline Conveyors For Sale

Used incline conveyors move product between various floors of a warehouse.   Controlling transportation of products from floor level to a mezzanine, platform, or building to building saves valuable floor space by transporting products to an overhead location without the use of a forklift. A used incline conveyor from ASI is ideal for manufacturing plants, distribution centers, packaging lines, metal stamping, and any area that requires an elevation change. This type of conveyor can function in multiple ways, and typically requires power, using belt over roller conveyor or slider bed conveyor. Used incline conveyor can be set up to go both uphill and downhill, or just uphill. Both of these options require power. To understand which direction the product can go, if the motor drive is at the top, that indicates that the incline conveyor is only able to move product uphill.  If you only need to move product downhill, which is typically a trash chute style operation, you do not necessarily need to power the conveyor and can use a slider bed style conveyor bed for your incline.

Used incline conveyor manufacturers include Buschman, Mathews, Rapistan, Hytrol, Ermanco and Speedway.  Design and installation of used incline conveyor, by trained professionals, is available nationwide.

Used Incline Conveyor

Used incline conveyors convey products and materials between floors, mezzanines, work platforms, docks, or overhead conveyor lines. There are many factors to consider when picking the right incline conveyor and many options to choose from to meet your specific material handling needs.

Some of the common styles of incline conveyor belts include cleated, plastic, wire and synthetic. The material you chose for the belt typically depends on the material being transported, and the angle of incline or decline.  In general, cleated incline belts are also recommended for any application where the product is being transported at an angle steeper than 30 degrees.

Note: If packaging is bulky, or top heavy, it is not recommended to set the angle close to 30 degrees. We can help you determine the appropriate weight and size capabilities of your used incline conveyor. The type of material being transported also determines the maximum incline that can be used. For example, plastic bins and totes slip the easiest, cardboard boxes grip a little bit better, and rubber products tend to grip the conveyor the best.

Used incline conveyors may come with adjustable speed controls. The variable speed option should be chosen in situations where the product needs to be slowed down or stopped so it can be weighed, packaged, handled manually, etc.

Why buy used incline belt conveyor? The conveyor can be pretty expensive when designing an entire system, or even just purchasing a few sections. Used incline belt conveyor from ASI is around half the cost of new and has been cleaned, tested, and inspected to ensure quality. We understand that you may be skeptical when considering buying used, but we can ensure you that if you work with ASI you will be satisfied with your purchase. Saving you money is our main goal, and has led American Surplus to success for over 20 years.
