Used stackers are a type of pallet jack that is used to move products loaded onto pallets. They are able to transport extremely heavy loads throughout your industrial warehouse storage facility. The two most common styles of used stackers are walk behind and ride-on. As the name implies, walk behind pallet stackers has the user walk behind the unit as it transports loaded pallets. Ride-on stackers allows the user to stand on the unit while transporting product.

There are also two different types of pallet stackers, manual and powered. Manual stackers are typically also walk behind units because it requires the operator to manually push the unit to move. Manual stackers utilize a foot pedal or a handle to raise the forks on the stacker. A separate trigger is pressed to release the pressure and lower the forks. Powered used pallet stackers are either gas or electric, and allow for the transportation of much heavier loads. The forks on powered stackers raise and lower by the push of a button, and the stacker can move forward and in reverse via controls on the handles.

When choosing a used stacker for your facility, consider the desired lift height and maximum weight of products. American Surplus Inc. can help you choose the appropriate pallet stacker for your application. We specialize in high quality used material handling equipment, so we can provide you a quality used stacker for a fraction of the cost of used.
