Rivet rack shelving, also known as boltless shelving, is a general purpose shelving system which is simple and easy to set up. Rivet rack shelving has no clips or bolts, meaning there are no tools required for assembly. This style of shelving is accessible on all four sides, making it ideal for hand loading operations.
Rivet rack is assembled by securing beams to the uprights via “buttons” that are on the beams itself. The two common styles are single and double rivet beams. Single rivet has one row of buttons to secure to the uprights. Double rivet beams, on the other hand, have two rows of buttons, making for a much more heavy duty structure. Single rivet beams have a lower weight capacity but maximize shelf height because they are much thinner.
Rivet rack shelving is also universal, meaning there is no front or back, left or right. This makes assembly extremely efficient because shelves and beams do not have to be sorted and positioned correctly. The shelves themselves can be wood, metal, wire, steel, or particle board depending on your application.
