Used ShelvingChoosing the right used shelving system(s) can be a difficult task. ASI recommends documenting your needs and discussing the several available options to ensure you will meet your needs and still be within your budget. During the process of planning your used shelving application(s) a layout should be drafted to ensure that all elements of the used storage system are considered such as loading requirements, vehicles to be used, and location and capacities are considered.
Shelf selection is considered relative to the weight of products to be stored and loading method to be used.
Used Shelving posts must be selected to ensure that the shelf spacing is adequate for type and quantity of inventory.
Used Bracing to prevent swaying and lateral movement must be designed into the system and included in the assembly instructions.
Uneven floors must be considered to prevent installed shelving load problems. Shims must be used to correct the level of the system.
