Used accumulating conveyors are general purpose conveyors used to transport products. Used accumulation conveyor is used to hold product until released into the work area. Accumulation conveyor drive pressure can be adjusted to a minimum or even eliminated. The ability to accumulate a long line of product without back pressure allows the product to be fed into the next process without delay.
Zero pressure accumulating conveyor allows products to move without touching during the conveying process. Drive pressure is removed by placing sensors at regular intervals along the conveyor. When the sensors are activated, conveyor speeds will vary. Zero pressure conveyor is divided into accumulation sections. Each section receives power from a flat drive belt. The drive belt is pneumatically lowered away from the rollers causing the product in that particular zone to stop moving.
Minimum pressure accumulation conveyor allows products to lightly touch each other during the conveying process. The back pressure is minimal to eliminate product damage.
