Our green program is also second to none. We recycle thousands of pounds of metal & wood products on a daily basis.

Over the years ASI has recycled thousands of tons of steel. Our green program involves the modification of used pallet racking, used steel shelving, used mezzanines, and conveyor systems for resale to our family of customers who prefer “used” products versus “new”. All our material handlng equiment is treated in the same manner. Either they are resold or recycled to local scrap yards or other recycling facilities including plastics, batteries, etc.

	Used pallet racking are inspected upon arrival. Damaged racking and beams are repaired or scrapped. Used wire decking, pallet rack supports, column frame protectors and other accessories are resold as per our customers’ specifications.
	Used steel shelving is separated when dismantled on site and graded for resale Grade A B C D shelving is resold at prices to match their quality. Damages shelves and shelving posts not suitable for resale are scrapped. Used shelving can be painted at modest prices.
	Most used gravity conveyors can be resold in as is condition All power conveyor is reconditioned per ASI guidelines. Several styles of used conveyor can be modified for use in several applications. Those conveyors not reusable are scrapped.
	Most of the used mezzanines and/or components purchased are configured to meet customer specifications. Cutoffs and small sizes of material are scrapped. Installation of mezzanines quoted same day Mezzannes can be painted a modest cost
